John received his degree in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Interior Design and Industrial Technology) from the University of North Texas.

He founded ClubDesign Associates in 1990, and in 2018 founded the CDA Global Management, and in 2019 acquired his first Country Club, Five Oaks Country Club, outside of Nashville TN, and founded CDA Realty LLC which develops extra acreage around Country Clubs for real estate or commercial development.​

In the same year, John was selected to serve on the Advisory Board at the University of North Texas for the College of Visual Arts & Design, and on the Board of Governors for Colonial Country Club & Chairs the House Committee.

Kendall joined ClubDesign in 2006. She started her career at a large hotel design firm in Dallas, but now loves the niche market of country club and restaurant design and serves as a Senior Designer and Project Manager.

A born and bred 7th generation Texan, Kendall graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S in Interior Design and is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas. As part of her undergraduate studies, she participated in TCU’s study abroad program in Florence and Venice, Italy.

Outside of the design firm, Kendall is an avid gardener, a wine enthusiast (her family is starting a vineyard!) and loves to travel with her husband.

Lori began her career at ClubDesign Associates in 2002. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a B.S. in Interior Design, a Registered Interior Designer in the state of Texas, and serves as a Senior Designer and Project Manager.

During her time at ClubDesign Associates Lori has worked on numerous country clubs across the United States and brings 19 years of experience, knowledge and proficiency to each project she leads.

Lori is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have a daughter and a son. She is involved in the community as a member of the Women’s Ministry Team at her church and a parent volunteer at her children's school. In her free time, Lori enjoys reading, playing board games, and traveling.

Mary began working for ClubDesign Associates in 2015 and serves as both the Office Manager, as well as an Interior Designer.

She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Interior Design. While living in New York, Mary worked for several notable design firms and met her husband, Mario, while working on a design project. Some of these projects included apartment renovations on the Upper East and West Sides of Manhattan, as well as the Kip’s Bay Decorator Show House.

Mary and her husband later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, her hometown, where she began her design consulting firm while raising their three sons. Outside of work, Mary enjoys gardening, traveling, decorative arts, and cooking for her family.

Steve works as a Senior Project Manager on a variety of hospitality projects ranging from ground-up new construction projects to retro fitting and modernizing historical clubs.

Steve has gained well rounded experience in a range of construction project applications over his career. His extensive experience in the hospitality industry gives him a unique ability to maximize the clients budget. His ability to manage the sequencing of a project, coupled with strong client relationships, makes him a positive addition to any construction project team.

Steve joined CDA in 2004 and has over 33 years of construction experience, with 22 years spent specializing in the hospitality industry.

Gary has worked in Business Development and Client Services since 2005. Noted work for Tom Hoch Design, a Leader in Hospitality/Resort Planning and now aligned with Two Principals, John Cochran from ClubDesign Associates and Erik Peterson with PHX Architecture. The Firm Operates Nationally and maintains offices in Ft. Worth, TX; Palm Springs and Beverly Hills, CA as well as Scottsdale, AZ.

Gary has engaged principals of The PGA of America, Troon Golf, Marriott/Ritz-Carlton, Landmark Land Co., Landscapes Unlimited, Three Oaks Hospitality, Greg Norman, The University of Oklahoma, Honours Golf, Western Golf Properties, Lennar Homes, Weibring-Wolfard Golf, Forrest Richardson & Associates, Bass Pro Shops, The Kohler Co. and numerous private clubs.
